My son was diagnosed with autism last year and is the reason I'm running the great north run for The Sensory Place.

They are a local north east registered charity that provides activities, events and support children with disabilities.

I have seen the daily struggles of autism, the sensory challenges that needed addressing and i was so please to have found the sensory place.
