Jess started school in the same class as my youngest brother George back in September 2015, but sadly barely got to enjoy the first term of school before her Leukaemia returned and she spent the vast amount of the next 18 months in the Bristol Royal Children's Hospital, specifically Ward 34. Jess passed away in January 6th 2017.

Her family- Mel, Martin and her older sister Zoe think a fund that goes towards making the ward a brighter place would get Jess' approval. Whilst in hospital Jess spent a lot of her time creating things to go on the walls to add a splash of colour.

Jess loved doing Parkruns so it felt fitting to raise some money in her memory after signing up for Tough Mudder, which sounds like Jess would have loved as it involves loads of obstacles, running and mud!
