Story

Nicci, Helen and Dave, Ella, Sally, Hannah, Sue and Michelle are all jumping in the winter sea for MND

In September 2012 we lost our brilliant, kind, generous lovely friend Andrew to Motor Neurone Disease. Andrew was one of those people who made you feel better just by being with him. He left behind his wife Rachel and two young daughters; Sophie and Millie. Sophie and Millie have grown into two accomplished, beautiful young women he would be so proud of.

Because of Andrew, I volunteered for my local MNDA branch; West Sussex South. Here I have met some really inspiring people who are passionate about supporting people living with MND in our area, and fundraising for a cure.

With this in mind I decided I would take on the challenge of jumping in the sea in December. Not being the best swimmer nor the bravest, I asked my friends if anyone fancied joining me and was totally overwhelmed by their response.

Thank you for taking the time to read my page and watch the video.

Nicci
