Hi All,
Thank you so much for visiting my page.
02.02.12 - Only 8 months to go and I'm starting to panic. I've been doing alot of research on line, watching others youtube videos etc and getting inspired and scared all at the same time. I'm keeping up with the training as well as throwing some extra trips in along the way. I've just booked in to do the Yorkshire 3 Peaks in March, a "fun run" in Frimley in May and the Windsor half marathon in July. I'm starting to believe my family when they call me mad.
I've talked about it for a long time, and now I'm finally doing it. I'm climbing Kilimanjaro in the summer 2012 to raise money for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham.
The Hospice is a local charity and is such a great cause, which is why I would love to continue to support them by raising as much money as possible, please check them out at http://www.phyllistuckwellhospice.org/ and see what a great organisation they are.
Although this challenge is not until 2012, I have already started training and so am obviously already in agony as a result of the evil men at the gym and their training program :) We would really appreciate any donation that you can afford as we are attempting a very scary task in order to raise awareness and funds for a fantastic cause.
Please support them and me by dontating now.
I will keep you up-to-date on all the progress so you can laugh at the trips and falls and aches and pains as well as hopefully appreciate the size of the task in hand.
Thank you all in advance for your donations, it's such an inspiration to see all the support.
Wish us luck :) xxx
