Thembalitsha UK’s mission is to raise and channel funds to the amazing work of the Thembalitsha Foundation (SA. We seek to restore hope to the people of South Africa by developing them to a point of self-reliance through the provision of healthcare, education and training initiatives.

10 things you need to know about our climb:

1 - We are raising money for Thembalistha - a charity for AIDS orphans in S. Africa
2 - We've never done anything like this before
3 - This was all 'T.'s idea
4 - James won't be able to have any tea
5 - Mandy isn't allowed to ski down from the top
6 - 'Tinuke can't turn this into army boot camp
7 - We will be showing you photos
8 - The summit is 5,895m from sea level, that's Hyde park to Hammersmith... upwards!
9 - Everything that you give will go into housing and treating children and babies suffering from HIV / AIDS
10 - There will be lions
