Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are taking on the highest mountain on the African Continent, Mount Kilimanjaro, with the aim of reaching Uhuru Peak in just five days on a high altitude trek. Our route will take us up the Machame Path, from tropical rainforest to snow-capped glacier, with a total time of seven days on the mountain. It’s a tough climb, with the effects of altitude being the biggest obstacle to overcome, aside from the mountain!

All this is for a good cause, raising funds for a charity close to our hearts, Starter Motor, which is dedicated to bringing a new, young and enthusiastic generation in to the classic motoring sector by creating and supporting pathways to employment, skills and knowledge transfer. The charity is unique, fresh and on an incredible, Kilimanjaro-like trajectory to the clouds. Based at Bicester Heritage, it is positioned at the heart of the industry it aims to support and best placed to reinforce a viable future for the UK’s motoring heritage.
