Kilimanjaro 2020 · 9 February 2020

The Eleanor Foundation was formed in 2012 in memory of International Development student Eleanor Carey who was killed whilst cycling in London in December 2011. Her ambition was to work towards providing sustainable futures for communities and the objective of the foundation is to achieve this aim.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Mike de Haaff, Ryan de Haaff, Robin Hughes and Richard Hotchkis will be climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and would also like to use the climb to raise money for the Eleanor Foundation.

We're hoping to raise at least £2,500 which will be enough to build a well, providing clean water for communities in either Chato or Biharamulo districts in North West Tanzania.

We will be climbing the Rongai Route, starting on February 10th, which will take us a total of 8 days for the whole climb, summiting on the 7th. We are paying all costs of the trip ourselves, so all donations will go to The Eleanor Foundation.

Please give as little or as much as you are able, it's all going to a great cause. You can find out more information about them at the bottom of this page, or on their website:
