Bertie's Buccaneers
Campaign by Muscular Dystrophy UK (RCN 205395 (England and Wales) - SC039445 (Scotland))
Bertie's Buccaneers was set up to fundraise for research into Ullrich congenital muscular dystrophy which Bertie was diagnosed with in 2014.

Story

I've been inspired by the experiences of Bertie and his family and I hope you will be too. Bertie is a very cute and bright kid, but he lives with Ullrich's congenital muscular dystrophy. It is extremely rare and caused by a random mutation in his gene code. A small piece of funded research could make a huge difference to his life and the lives of others.

Bertie's Buccaneers was started on behalf of Bertie to raise
awareness and funds for research into a cure with MDUK. You can find out all about the Buccaneers at:

and

Bertie's Buccaneers is an official Muscular Dystrophy UK
family fund, so any fund you give will go directly towards research focused on Ullrich's
congenital muscular dystrophy.
