Story
So I signed up for this 5k run because I want to raise a nice amount for my sons school... It sure will be a challenge not being a runner at all!.
My son Joe is 15 now he was born 15 weeks preterm, he has severe quadriplegic cerebral palsy with associated difficulties,, is non verbal with limited communication and has been at Chailey Heritage School for 12 years, I hope he will be able to stay another 5 years. I feel I’m in a position to give this a good go as I’ve recently started running to firtstly keep fit as i need to stay as fit as I can for him so I can manage his continued daily needs and I want to be there and able for anything.that comes his way. Secondly I have a nice amount of weight to lose so that’s and added bonus. My husband is joining me on my running journey and this 5k. Joe’s siblings will be running for this cause too. So please donate on behalf of all of us for this amazing school. Thank you for showing an interest and reading my page also for any pennies you might be able to spare.
