As some of you know, our daughter, Meg, has Down's Syndrome.

As all of you who know Meg realise, Down's Syndrome doesn't define her - it is only one small part of who she is.

A lot of ignorance and fear still surrounds the condition and for new parents of a baby with Down's, it can be an emotional time.

Down's Syndrome Scotland is a wonderful organisation that offers help, support and information to parents and carers, as well as helping to dispel some of the fears and myths to the wider population.

I'm delighted to take this opportunity to give something back to them, and we appreciate your support in this.
