Story
To mark the 10 year anniversary of us losing our funny, friendly, loving Dad, we will be taking part in Farleigh Hospice’s Walk for Life. We will be completely the 24km Walk this year! That’s nearly 15 miles!
The last 10 years have been bitter sweet- we have gained new members to our beautiful family, there have been weddings, many celebrations of birthdays, graduations, two amazing children that have brought light into our lives - but we have had to do all these without our Dad.
He never got to meet the two cheeky babies that make us all laugh, smile and burst with proud! He never got to see how many traits they got from him! How Zain lays on his tummy when he watches TV or is playing with his toys. How Zain chews his tongue when he is concentrating, the confidence they both have to make friends, the way they both stick up for each other and put family first! They never got to meet their wonderful Grandad Bond.
Dad never saw me graduate, I never had him walk me down the aisle at my wedding, he never met my husband, he never saw me pass my driving test! He never saw my baby boy!
So to mark the 10 year anniversary of him leaving this world, please sponsor us with what ever you can for this wonderful charity.
When Dad passed, Farleigh Hospices Yo-Yo project helped me and my siblings get through the worst time of our lives, through the bereavement counselling they gave us, it helped us a little to come to terms of what had happened.
They do an amazing job! Please support them with what ever you can!
