All the family were left devasted after finding out a few weeks ago that Kimmy had cancer... AGAIN!
We found out she had tumours in the brain and before we knew it she was on the operating table having major surgery in The Walton Centre to get them removed! If anyone knows my mum, they'll know she doesn't take any crap from cancer and in her words "I've beat it once and I'll do it again" and that's what she is currently doing.... what a woman!
After regular visits to the hospital, the family could not be more grateful for all the great work of all the staff at the Walton Centre. They made Kimmy feel like a queen and let Kev sneak in with McSundaes and to be by her side. They deserve all the recognition/ thanks in the world and this is the reason we're fundraising.
