Story
We all know the things that happen in our childhood are the bedrock for the people we become as adults. Some of us have been lucky enough to have had a really strong family unit and a safe place to call home while growing up; not every child is so lucky.
The NSPCC takes a call from a vulnerable child every 25 seconds! Your support will help keep this valuable resource available and to ensure those calls are answered 365 days a year. Hats off to the volunteers that take those calls - I salute you. As someone who was once interviewed to be one of the childline operators I decided that I'd become too mentally involved and 'attached' to take the role at the time. What these guys manage to do and the children they help day in day out is magical. I may not be able to be on the end of the phone but I can certainly raise money for the people that can. And I'll continue to do so because even if I manage to help one child have a better life, then I can sleep happier.
This trek of Patagonia is labelled EXTREME my friends and will see me not only getting cold as f**k campaign but battling my way through day treks of 20km through the mountains and tough terrain.
Please note, all money donated through this page will go straight to NSPCC post my trek. You are not being asked to fund this trip - I'm a 'self-funder' so ALL MONEY DONATED GOES TO NSPCC..
