Story

Hi,

Myself, Nick, Sophie, Shaun, Emma & Jen are doing a 5k walk/run or dance through 8 tunnels that are all different they include hot zone, time tunnel, air dancer zone, ricochet zone, foam zone, disco zone, strobe zone & laser zone. This will be happening at night. During our many years on this earth I feel that (some more than others) other charities are forgotten about, this glow in the park event came up at a really good time as it's in the open and we get fresh air whilst having a laugh!

100 years ago, soldiers returned from World War I blinded by the effects of mustard gas or shrapnel.

Kent Association for the Blind was set up to support these war wounded soldiers - helping them to rehabilitate back into society.

Today our work is needed more so than ever .Only 4% of people who are registered sight impaired are completely blind, so we help people make the most of the sight they have.

We can help with mobility training and advice on gadgets to make the simplest of tasks seems less difficult.
