As many of you know, Ben loves festivals, particularly WOMAD and Cambridge Folk Festival. He went most years from the age of 14 and it was his perfect combination of music, trees and people pampering him. It was also an example of ma and pa stubbornly not letting anything (lack of accessible toilets, a sea of mud, inflexible security guards) get in the way of giving Ben a great life. 

We particularly appreciated the support of Festival Spirit at WOMAD. They provide a jolly space for people with disabilities and their families to spread out during festivals. Their volunteers helped with all the logistics of getting a 'Ben' around the site, and their fridge was stocked with treats. And their 'up-down beds' certainly saved a few back twinges!
