During a typical Thursday night netball match one of our lovely players was unexpectedly taken seriously ill on court! The ambulances arrived and thanks to them and the quick thinking of other players they managed to keep her with us!

The Air ambulance was called and in A -Team like fashion landed in the next field without any lighting and only their own guidance . They quickly arrived on the scene and stabilised our friend allowing her to then be roaded to Kings Hospital where she was treated further! Their skills and dedication are unrivalled but sadly they are tragically under funded and I think having to consider what we would have done without them has affected us all.

As a club and as a league we would like to raise some cash for this essential service to not only contribute but also to demonstrate how grateful we are for their help!
