King's Takes on Cancer is raising money for Little Princess Trust

King's Takes on Cancer - haircut · 11 June 2022

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

After growing it for 3 years, our volunteer cut more than 50
centimetres (20 inches) of her hair to donate it to the Little Princess Trust. As
well as cutting her hair, we are raising money for the Trust in order to help
cover the cost of making a wig from the hair donated. The wigs are made for
children who lost their hair due to cancer treatment.

Apart from providing children with good quality, real hair
wigs, the Little Princess Trust also funds and supports vital research into new
and better treatments for all childhood cancers.

At the King’s Takes on Cancer Society, we believe that
support through a community can make a big difference in the lives of people battling against cancer. Therefore, we try to do our bit with raising funds for
organizations leading the way in the fight against cancer.

We would like to make sure no one is alone in their fight
against cancer.

Therefore, if you can, please support the Little Princess Trust’s
mission with a donation.

Thank you,

King’s Takes on Cancer Society

About the Little Princess Trust:

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
