I am very excited to be taking part in my first Charity Horse Race, raising money for Racing Welfare. I have worked as a groom at Tony Carroll's yard for 6 years. Now I have the chance to take part in this 7 furlong race which takes place at Doncaster Racecourse on Friday 7th July at 1.25pm, during Racing Staff Week. This is something I've always wanted to do and is done in memory of my Grandads, who will have been very proud to see me be a jockey.
