Hello! Hi! Welcome!

To celebrate living the entire 22nd year of my life in lockdown and to kick off my 23rd year in a slightly different way, I will be shaving my head on my birthday. (Link to watch it happen live: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cz8ta3Yu0Y4 )

So this can have a bit more of an impact than just on my head, I wanted to take the opportunity to do some wider good. I am raising money for Freedom4Girls to support the work they do both here in the UK and abroad to tackle period poverty. Specifically, this means dealing with; the cost of period products, the lack of education around periods and menstrual health, and the shame, stigma, and taboo associated with menstruation. 

This is an issue we need to face in the UK as well. Before lockdown, 1 in 10 couldn't afford period products and since Coronavirus that number has tripled, meaning 3 in 10 cannot afford these essential items.
