Why are we doing it? 

In October 2013, Ellen and Sian's wonderful Dad, Kirk's father-in-law, Alan Bishop was taken by cancer. It was just 39 days from the day of diagnosis to the day he died. No-one deserves to have their life cut short, and we all feel it was an un-just time for him to be taken from us.

Sian, Ellen, his partner MJ and his brother Steve were with him when he died. They didn't get the chance to say the things they wanted to in the time, so in his honour and his memory we are taking on the challenge of cycling from London to Paris. Planning something special in his memory is somewhat therapeutic.

We'd love your support to raise as much money as we can for Cancer Research UK because the more research that can be done, the more lives that can be saved and we can get closer to beating cancer for good!

Whatever we do, it will never bring him back, but we hope this makes him proud of us. We know he'll enjoy the ride and we bet he wishes he was coming with us!
