Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am more used to running longer races but I couldn't resist this 5k race, the aim being to get as muddy as possible, especially if it involves anything for the fight against the evil piece of crap that is cancer.

My wonderful mum succumbed to terminal brain cancer in 2007 at the age of 53, her sister died of aggressive breast cancer aged 36, leaving four young children and another of mum's sisters has successfully battled breast cancer twice. I have also lost two grandparents to cancer, so it's safe to say I have a mahooooosive vendetta against it!! 

I feel strongly about fundraising for the fight to treat and beat cancer and have done several events for cancer charities, in memory of those I know and love who have been affected.
