Our lovely Great-Grandma (Betty) has been living with leukaemia for several years. Medicines and medical professionals have kept her leukaemia well managed and has prolonged her quality of life so she can have a relationship with her great-grandchildren.  

Alyssa’s good friend Isla, has also been watching her father fight a blood cancer. He has been an inpatient hospital for over 6 months enduring chemotherapy and other treatments and has only recently been able to get home to his lovely partner and daughter. 

We are walking to raise money for blood cancer, to continue to support research and support for those who need it.

We are taking part in Walk of Light 2022 on 26th March, in support of Blood Cancer UK. People affected by blood cancer faced an unimaginably difficult year last year and I'm taking part in Walk of Light to support everyone affected by blood cancer and to light the way to a brighter future.For more information about Blood Cancer UK please visit www.bloodcancer.org.uk.
