I am part of FreeWheelin dance and Cerebral Palsy Midlands have helped us out with a hall to practice in when we didn’t have one. All the work they do is super important for lots of people, including friends of mine

Our citizens at Cerebral Palsy Midlands have cerebral palsy and other disabilities. They often find it hard to access the local community as they need support, have issues with mobility, communication & sensory needs. At this event we help our clients with their transport & care needs to ensure they have the greatest empowering day walking around the accessible Cannon Hill park together with other charities Birmingham Phab Camps and Sociability Care 'Noah's Star', walking proud for disability. Our aim at Cerebral palsy Midlands is to empower people reach their full potential in our community day-care centre. We run activities daily such as art tuition, vocal coaching, music tuition, wheel chair dance, tai-chi practice, Independence skills, City & Guild qualifications, accessing the community, day trips, holidays, help with welfare and benefits and more. We really want to make a difference to their lives & this walk helps us do that. For more information visit www.cpmids.org.uk.
