Kirsty & Isla Jump Off The Forth Rail Bridge! · 2 October 2011

We support D/deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and deafblind people to live confident, independent lives. The Centre is unique in that our focus is on wellbeing and decreasing social isolation. We do this through groups, classes, outings and meetings which provide fun, education and new friends.

Story

YES you read that right. But when we say "jump" we mean SAS FREE-FALL ABSEIL. Yes, you also read that right.

No we're not adrenalin junkies, actually the thought of what we're doing is terrifying, but it's for a good cause!

We're raising money for the Sensory Centre in Falkirk which supports blind and deaf people living in the Forth Valley area: http://www.falkirk.gov.uk/services/specialist/forth_valley_sensory_centre/forth_valley_sensory_centre.aspx

For more information and a video giving you an idea of just what we're doing:
https://www.chssi.org.uk/ultimateabseil

When: Sunday 2nd October
Where: Forth Rail Bridge (South Queensferry side)

We have to raise a minimum of £125 each to take part, but hope to raise as much as possible. We'll be around with forms, so please sponsor us in this insane endeavour!!!

Love Isla and Kirsty xxx
