Mr Motivator's Workout Challenge for Brain Tumour Charities

This 10-day challenge is an easy way to have fun and feel good about exercise whilst raising funds to help some great charities who offer vital services for those affected by a brain tumour, and fund critical research to find a cure

Story

In June 2020 a week before my 44th birthday,  I was diagnosed with a rare benign brain tumor. Although I have mild symptoms, I am fortunate not to require treatment at this time, but am monitored. Hearing the word brain tumor is terrifying, but I have the comfort of 'benign' ,  but still the anxiety that followed after being told, until speaking with my Neuro-oncologist was awful for myself, and those close to me. I therefore want to help raise money towards research for those who aren't as fortunate as myself in their diagnosis, to help in finding a cure, to prevent people having to deal with the illness, emotional and mental aspects of brain tumors.

I would be very grateful if you could kindly support me , as I take on the  Mr Motivator ( yes THE Mr Motivator, and no I wont be wearing lycra) 10 day fitness challenge. Every little bit will help to make a difference.

Thank you, Kirsty

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.
