Our family are planning a Coffee and Cake fundraising event in Thurso which will take place on Saturday 14 February in memory of our sister Nikki Petrie.  Nikki was diagnosed in October 2012 with Cholangiocarcinoma (CC).  Nikki was a wife, mum, daughter and sister and she died on , 5 short months after being diagnosed, aged 41 and as a family we feel that we are now ready to hold an annual event in her memory.

Money raised at the event will be donated to AMMF, who have been a great support for our family since Nikki died.  AMMF is the 's only CC charity. Their main aims are to raise the awareness of CC (bile duct cancer), to provide information, and to support specialised research teams in their work to find the causes, methods of earlier diagnosis and treatments for this disease.
