Every 9 days in Scotland a baby or child will die suddenly and unexpectedly - many of their families will never know why they died. As the only charity in Scotland dedicated to the issue of Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI), we provide support, education resources and fund research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Cot death claims the life of 1 baby or child every 9 days in Scotland.

I will be taking part in a firewall and walking over hot coals to raise money for Layla's Angels and the Scottish Cot Death Trust (SCDT).

Sadly on New Years Day 2013, Layla passed away in her sleep, aged 11 days. SCDT gave valuable supportive services to Layla's family and this is the charity Layla’s Angels fundraises for.

I cannot even begin to imagine the pain of such a loss. The SCDT educates people on how to reduce the risks, offers support to those who have been devastated by cot death and gives CPR training. Please give whatever you can to support such a worthwhile cause.
