Hi Everyone,

I am off to Malawi next week with the charity WeSeeHope.

WeSeeHope exists to support orphans and vulnerable children living in extreme poverty in Southern and Eastern Africa. They partner with local, in-country organisations to develop long term and sustainable programmes that restore, protect, educate, equip and sustain these children and young people. 

We will be visiting play centres where young children who have lost parents go and also visiting older children who have had to step up and become heads of households.

I am so excited to have been given this opportunity but also nervous and apprehensive at what I will see first hand. I know it is going to be a difficult and an incredibly emotional trip but I hope we can make a difference in the communities we will visit.

I have been tasked with raising $2,000 to support my trip, which will also be matched by my company Qlik.
