Celebrating 40 years of the British Tinnitus Association

Story

I am fundraising for The British Tinnitus Association to celebrate their 40th Anniversary and help support the work they do in the world of tinnitus. The British Tinnitus Association is the only national charity specialising in tinnitus support. Their vision is a world where no one suffers from tinnitus. They receive no money directly from the government, so are 100% reliant on the generosity and support of members of the public and grant-making organisations to be able to support people with tinnitus across the UK.

I have lived with Tinnitus for a very long time and believe that my time in the Royal Air Force working on Jets especially the iconic VSTOL Jet the “Harrier” contributed to my hearing loss. I thought it would be fun to raise money for the British Tinnitus Association by taking a Before and After Photograph of my Hair and Beard as I have not had my Hair cut or shaved since entering Peterborough City Hospital on Friday March 13th 2020 and being isolated for five days, to then leave after being tested Negative for Coronavirus. Then it was Lockdown. I have an appointment with my Barber on July 8th and will take a photograph before going in and will take another after and post them on this site as well as Facebook. Give what you can and if you pay tax then Gift Aid. Thank you in Advance.
