Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

Hello all,

I'm going to be running the London Marathon in October 2022, the Exmouth dip was just a warm up..!

I am so glad to be raising money for such an incredible charity, reaching my target will mean so much to them, and even more so the individuals that the money will help. Almost 600 people develop dementia every day, and Alzheimer's Research UK are the leading light in dementia research; it's causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and cure. The charity have also set themselves the challenge of bringing about the first life changing dementia treatment by 2025.

With the donations made by you, Alzheimer's Research are funding innovative science to spark the bright ideas that will unlock new treatments for dementia, as well as sharing the information found across the world, to create a global force against the diseases that cause dementia.

Each and every donation will spur me on during my training, and I'll be providing many updates for you eager fans.
