Kitty & William have trained for 2 years with Dart Trekkers, for the Ten Tors Challange which unfortunately has been cancelled this year. It was due to take place on 1-3 May 2020.

Last year, Kitty's team dramatically got lost, walking nearly 20 miles on the first day, 8 of which were in the wrong direction. The second day, unfortunately, her 35-mile team had to be crashed out of the event. She was devastated but eventually resolute to try again this year. William's team managed to finish last year & he was due to step up to 45 miles this year.

Kitty & William have been friends since they were babies, going to the same schools since toddlers until last year. They have decided despite the event being cancelled, to accomplish 35 miles together this year, in a socially distanced way & raise money for Rowcroft Hospice Charity. They will be walking from Rowfroft Hospice Gates towards Dartmouth, Tor Cross, Beesands & Salcombe, using the South Devon Coast Path for much of the route. A challenging route with many steep cliff paths along the way. Charities such as Rowcroft are finding it increasingly difficult to raise money with many events cancelled this year. Kitty & William hope they can not only accomplish their trek but raise some much-needed funds for this essential local charity who help so many people in our community in such a meaningful way.
