We provide advice, mediation and support to prevent homelessness in Hertfordshire

Thank you for visiting our fundraising site.

The Barley Knitters meet twice a month at The Chequers Pub. We have started a tradition of yarnbombing the local postboxes in December to bring some festive cheer and to fundraise for a local charity.

This year, we are extending our reach to Barkway and Great Chishill and have decided to support Herts Young Homeless.

Herts Young Homeless (hyh) is a unique charity in Hertfordshire providing services to support vulnerable people.

Their focus is on preventing homelessness - from education in schools and family mediation through to supporting 16-24 year olds in their first homes or caring for adults of all ages who have mental health issues and housing needs.

Their FREE services empower young people to be able to deal with the difficult situations in their lives, give them the ability and confidence to ‘do it themselves’ and ultimately find stability.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
