Participants: Tony Walton, Jonathan Barr, Kevin Hart and Robert Barker
Yorkshire Three Peaks is the classic UK trekking challenge. Conquer these summits in one day surrounded by people who are trekking for loved ones, and raise money so together we can find a cure. We also have a One Peak route too.

Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Both Tony's and Robert's mothers have been diagnosed with the illness. It is saddening to see 2 formerly bright, intelligent and sociable ladies having difficulties dealing with day to day issues which once were so simple for them. Together with close friends, Jonathan Barr and Kevin Hart, Tony and Robert will be walking the Yorkshire 3 Peaks on 29th June 2019 in an effort to raise as much money as possible for such a deserving cause.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
