Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  If you've come this far, then you will know that I am cycling 100 miles for PiggyBankKids.

I think of myself as a bit of a cyclist - Sunday mornings, in the lycra, getting some miles in, but 20 miles to Epping and back is not 100 miles on the same route as the 2012 Olympic Road Race, which the Prudential RideLondon 100 is, so it will be a challenge to complete what is classed as an endurance event.

PiggyBankKids, who I work for, are a great little charity who have started a global campaign to get the 'missing' 57 million children in the world who are not receiving any primary education into school and learning, by the end of 2015 - a massive challenge - and any support will help us achieve that.  You can find out more about this campaign at www.aworldatschool.org

PiggyBankKids also supports the life-saving and pioneering work of the Jennifer Brown Research Laboratory, based at the University of Edinburgh, which conducts medical research into the complications and difficulties that can arise from pregnancy and prematurity.
