Sikh Your Mind  is a charity that offers mental health support for the Sikh community.  Whilst the charity has been set up with the needs of the Sikh Community in mind, individuals of all backgrounds are welcome.

Sikh Your Mind recognises the need for culturally sensitive, spiritual and faith based mental health support, as this is often neglected in statutory provision.  Since 2015 Sikh Your Mind  has offered drop-ins at local Gurdwaras and mental health events, workshops and organisations including universities across the UK.  Sikh Your Mind  has also worked with Public Health England in promoting its Every Mind Matters campaign. 

More recently, thanks to National Lottery funding, Sikh Your Mind  has been able to offer telephone support, access to therapy and fortnightly access to an online women's well-being group (in Punjabi and English) at no cost.  Sikh Your Mind  is in the process of publishing research investigating the impact of Covid-19 and the closures of Gurdware on the Sikh community.

As National Lottery funding comes to an end, broader fundraising support is very much needed and welcome to help Sikh Your Mind continue the work that its volunteers are doing during these challenging times.
