Abseil · 3 August 2012

The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Please note donations on this page are for individual abseilers - if you wish for your donation to count towards a Partner's total, please follow the individual justgiving pages below.

The Purpose:

‘Altitude’, are raising funds for the Prince’s Trust Million Makers Challenge, and in order to do this we are holding a Charity abseil event down the Atrium of One Snowhill on the 24 September 2012.

The Plan:

Partner Abseil

  • 6 unwilling partners (Karl Edge, Richard Fenton, David Fripp, Ian Greaves, Mark Orton and Mike Steventon) have been nominated to be in the running to jump from the 11 floor.
  • The partner with the highest total donations will be forced to do the 120 foot abseil.
  • Ever wanted to see your partner hanging from a rope 120 foot in the air? Be prepared to donate!  To donate towards a partner total please go to the pages below:

  • Registration is only £30 with an addition fund raising target of £50 from friends and family.
  • Spaces are limited so make sure you email us now to book your time slot before they all go!

Also...

  • Know of a particular partner, director, senior manager, manager, secretary etc who you would love to abseil but is refusing to sign up?
  • See if you can convince them with a minimum target....“If we raise £500 will you jump?”...and get fund raising!

What do I need to do?

  • Be prepared to sponsor a partner to take the jump.
  • Experience the abseil yourself and register the take the plunge.
  • Encourage others to make the jump.
