So it's 2021 and Myeloma hasn't been beaten.  This Kampaign was started in 2019 - But we were late to start it and then due to Coivd it kind of lost its way. However recently I have been asked about Krampus Kards and this page is still the best way to get them.  It's not too late to get Kards for this year, so... 

Please support my campaign this year, purchase our Krampus Kards and help Myeloma Uk continue its important work. 

My story and reasons for supporting Myeloma UK  hasn't changed so this is much the same as last time...

Myeloma is supposed to be a pretty rare form of cancer, so I was told when my mother was diagnosed with it 7 years ago; but when my father in law also was diagnosed with it and then one of my best friends it dawned on me that considering it's so rare there's a lot of it about. 

When we started this Kard Kampaign my mum was living with Myeloma and had been for five years. Sadly, in August 2021, she passed away - She had outstanding care from the NHS and fought Myeloma every step of the way, which was only possible due to her early diagnosis. My Father in Law, Arthur, and my friend, Will, were not so lucky and are no longer with us as they were diagnosed quite late and Myeloma had already done its insidious work. I feel very strongly about fighting this illness and want to raise people's awareness of it.

People who know me, know that I am not the kind of bloke to go in for marathons or 'fun runs' (an oxymoron if ever there was one) Neither am I likely to shave my head, it's taken 30+ years to grow my hair this long. But I wanted to do something to support this great charity.

I am a wearer of costumes, for work and fun. My amazing wife, Heidi, has made a good many of them including my Krampus costume. We often get great photos from events we go to and we have got to know some brilliant photographers through this.  Krampus and the Sheepcote Elf are hugely popular at cons up and down the country and this year we have also added Very Bad Santa and Happy from the odd Netflix show Happy. These costumes bring genuine joy to grown ups and we want to share them.
