Story

On the 23rd February 2020 my mum sadly died in West Suffolk hospital after kidney surgery. She spent the last few days of her life recieving end of life care which wasn't as good as I could have hoped.

At the time I worked as a nurse for st Wilfrid's Hospice and wished my mum could have been cared for in a hospice environment in her last few days. I realised in those days whilst she was dying how important places like at Wilfrid's are to the community.

So mark the 1 year anniversary of her death James and I along with our 2 year old son are going to climb mount Snowdon in Wales on the 24th April 2021 to raise money for the vital work out local hospice does for our community.
