Most of us are lucky enough to have children who haven't been touched by the horrors, misadventure and displacement that comes with war.

Grave violations are being committed against boys and girls in conflict zones across the world, as families are separated, children displaced and abused - even recruited into armed groups - and schools are bombed as international laws are disregarded.

The War Child charity plays a vital role in protecting and educating affected children. Last year, over 450,000 children benefitted from direct support from War Child.
