KriStix beats for Children's Heart Surgery Fund · 1 February 2021

1 in 125 babies are born with CHD. CHSF supports Leeds Congenital Heart Unit, it's patients and their families. We fund lifesaving equipment, parent accommodation, staff training, and a family support service. 100% donor-funded, we can only do this with your help. Empowered lives, because of you.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My first fundraising event! Affecting almost one in 100 births, congenital heart disease is an umbrella term used to describe any heart condition or defect that develops in the womb, before a baby is born. Children's Heart Surgery Fund is a charity based in my hometown of Leeds and after seeing an article about them in the Yorkshire Evening Post, I thought if I could help in any way that I could then I ought to try. Look out this week for pictures, videos and livestreams all in aid to try raise money for this amazing charity and everything they represent. In such hard times, charities are struggling with fundraising and donations being so low. Together maybe we can be the difference improving the lives of so many children and their families <3

Olivia and Rob along with other colleagues from Lloyds Banking Group are going to be doing a fundraising video with me called "Beat For Heart Beats". Anything that we raise with this fundraising campaign, they will be putting in a request to claim Matched Giving meaning that we could see our total doubled!
