My story began seven years ago when my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was so devastating to find out that my mum actually had cancer. My world came crumbling down! As a family we supported my mother during the intense treatment she went through. She fought so hard to fight the illness and to our amazement she beat it!

However three years ago we heard the devastating news that the cancer had come back. The treatment started once again. My mum was determined more than ever to fight it yet again. Despite my mothers strong will and determination she finally lost her brave battle against cancer on 12th June 2014. 

I would like to continue to support this charity because I want to help support people who are fighting cancer and hopefully find a cure so people do not lose a close family/friend to cancer.
