Story
This October, I’m taking on the challenge of running 100 miles in support of the National Autistic Society. 🏃🏼♀️💜
People who know me will know that autism is something incredibly close to my heart. My son, is autistic and non-verbal, and being his mum has given me a completely different understanding of the world.
Every day, I see both the challenges autistic people and their families can face, but I also get to see the wonderful person Reggie is and experience the world from his perspective. He is the biggest reason I’ve chosen to take on this challenge.💜
The National Autistic Society works to support autistic people and their families, campaign for better rights and services, provide specialist education, and help create a society that better understands and supports autistic people.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me. Not only will it give me an extra push towards that 100-mile finish line, but it will also help support work that means so much to families like ours.
So, here’s to 100 miles, probably some very sore legs, and doing it all for a cause that couldn’t be closer to my heart. 🏃🏼♀️💜
Thank you so much for supporting me and, most importantly, for supporting the National Autistic Society.
