Kyle and Rhian climb Kilimanjaro

Kyle and Rhian climb Kilimanjaro · 8 October 2022
We are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, in October 2022.
We thought it was a perfect opportunity to raise some money. We are starting a fitness/training programme for the next 9months that will hopefully get us to an optimum fitness for the climb and thought this was the best time to set up this page to keep everyone updated on our progress pre climb. We will post updates on here and on our Instagram, including little fundraisers that you can get involved in. Please follow, support and fingers crossed we can beat our target.
We have chosen our charity as the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation as we are both lifelong rugby fans, and Doddie Weir is one of the most recognisable people in world rugby, and a Scottish Rugby and
British & Irish Lions legend. He announced that he was suffering from Motor Neuron Disease in 2017 and subsequently set up his charity to help fellow sufferers and to raise awareness and funding of the disease to one day, hopefully, find a cure for the disease. Please take a look at what the charity is all about and how much they have done since it was created, it can be found on their website here: https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/
As we said above, we intend on keeping everyone updated both on this page and on our Instagram account so you can see how we are getting on with training and fundraising! (We will post a link to the Instagram page as soon as we have created it!)
