I am doing the wee wander part of kiltwalk to raise funds for accord hospice where my mum has been a volunteer for over 30 years and organises all the patient transport ...I am so proud of all the time and compassion she has dedicated to this incredible charity. In the past year around 1200 patients and their families have been provided with specialist palliative care by our multidisciplinary team and we are constantly developing our services to ensure the highest standard of care possible. Treating each patient as an individual, and recognising their particular needs, ensures that ACCORD Hospice offers a full range of care and support which is key to the success of our work. ACCORDs strength is caring for local people, in our local area, supported by our local community.
