OHIS offers advice, information and practical support to anyone affected by an acquired brain injury - including the individual, families and carers. OHIS provides activity and rehabilitation services, through its Oxford centre and through community support workers.

Story

On Saturday 22nd August 2020 I will be doing the charity tandem skydive at Hinton In The Hedges Airfield. I will be raising money for those affected by brain injuries. It will be a 13000ft jump, 45 seconds free falling then parachuting back to the ground. The jump will be paid for by myself and all money raised will go to headway Oxfordshire. All sponsors will be massively appreciated, please share this post and get in contact with me if you can donate to this event.

Headway Oxfordshire is a charity that supports people affected by acquired brain injury, which has been as a result of a brain injury such as a stroke, tumour, haemorrhage or disease, as well as traumatic brain injury resulting from a road traffic accident, fall or sporting injury. Our mission is to improve life after brain injury and to raise awareness of brain injury. Our centre in Kennington provides rehabilitation activities. We also provide 1-1 community support that help support individuals integrate back into everyday community life.
