Story
Here's the deal: I have not done anything more than very, very mild exercise in a very long time, and this month is the first opportunity I'm allowing myself to have to change it. For every reason - physical fitness, mental clarity, having a hobby for this term - I want to spend my spare time this month being more active than I ever have been before, all while raising awareness and maybe a tiny smidge of money for a charity that does some great work.
I'm loving life at uni, but, for whatever reason, my mental health for the last while has been unpredictable and difficult to deal with. I've been more anxious; I've had more mood swings; I've been very easy to make cry. My hope is that improving my lifestyle by getting more active will help me to feel better in myself and set me on track for a long, healthy, happy life - and I'd like to not get out of breath going up stairs just once before I die.
To this end, I am going to be running, going to the gym, going to Zumba classes, and anything else I can find in addition to my usual routine to make me more active, every single day of this month. It would mean the world if you considered donating to the wonderful charity I'm supporting for it.
