Last year I lost a dear friend in Kevin and  then my mum in January both very suddenly with no warning. The loss of my mother in particular has changed me and left me keen to live life to the fullest and it feels only right that I ride in their honor. 

My charity choice might be odd as cancer wasn't the reason I lost mum and kev BUT two of the most important women in my life won their breast cancer battles and I want to ensure these are the stories we all have and raising for cancer research is my way of helping to create positive stories. 

I've debated doing Lands End to John O'Groats for a number of years and now just feels right - it's going to be a momentous challenge and one I am taking very seriously!!
