Story
LUR are committed to supporting charities within the local areas to its facilities. Francis House is one such important charity which provides respite care for children, teenagers and young adults with life-limiting conditions. Currently the hospice helps over 500 families from across the North West of England.
The hospice provides specialist care in a homely, happy and secure
place, helping the children live life to the full and offering much
needed support, friendship and encouragement to their families.
All services are given completely free of charge and by far the
largest part of funding comes through charitable donations. The
hospice needs to raise £4.7 million a year to keep its doors open.
