Who are you?

The Laced & Tripping Team are: Andy McAllister, Adam Parrett, Tom O'Brien, Matt Jones, Amit Davé and Nipun Payagalage-Don.

We are a motley band of guys from all walks of life that have come together to fulfil our long held personal ambitions of tackling and completing the infamous National 3 Peaks Challenge, and at the same time raise money for an extremely worthy cause.

What exactly is the challenge?

The goal is to ascend and descend the 3 tallest peaks of the UK: Ben Nevis in Scotland (1345m), Scafell Pike in England (978m) and Mount Snowdon in Wales (1085 m), all WITHIN 24 HOURS.

This is an undertaking that will require good stamina, fitness and team work in a sleep deprived state.

Which cause you are supporting?

As a team, we will be raising money for Cancer Research UK - all the money we raise will be going to the charity. This is a cause that requires little introduction given the broad impact this disease has had on many of our lives at some point, either directly or indirectly. We hope to add to their efforts to find new treatments and eventually eradicate this disease completely.

When are you doing it?

We start ascending our first mountain, Ben Nevis, on the evening of Friday 28th June 2019.
