We are taking part in this years Starlight Hike for Sue Ryder in memory of our dear friend Ed who sadly lost his brave battle to cancer earlier this year and left a huge hole in all of our hearts.

My favourite memories of Ed are during our walks where we talked about anything and everything and he was always willing to go the extra mile for anyone, therefore a Starlight Hike seemed the perfect way to honour his memory. 

Sue Ryder supports people through the most difficult times of their lives. Whether that’s a terminal illness, the loss of a loved one or a neurological condition – they’re there when it matters. Their doctors, nurses and carers give people the compassion and expert care they need to help them live the best life they possibly can.
